Practice your technique. There’s a proper way to brush and floss. If you’re unfamiliar with the correct technique, ask your dentist or dental hygienist for help. You can also visit the American Dental’s Association’s website (www.ada.org) to watch some great tutorials.
Beware of biofilm. That sticky feeling in your mouth when you wake up in the morning is a sign that bacteria inside have stuck together and multiplied—creating a thick layer called plaque biofilm. Beat biofilm by brushing, flossing, and rinsing twice a day.
