Directions
Adults and children 6 years of age and older:
- Use twice a day after brushing your teeth with a toothpaste
- Vigorously swish 10 mL (2 teaspoonfuls) of rinse between your teeth for 1 minute and then spit out
- Do not swallow the rinse
- Do not eat or drink for 30 minutes after rinsing
- Instruct children under 12 years of age in good rinsing habits (to minimize swallowing)
- Supervise children as necessary until capable of using without supervision
- Children under 6 years of age: consult a dentist or doctor
Warnings
Keep out of reach of children. If more than used for rinsing is accidentally swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Caused awful sloughing (peeling skin in mouth)
I've only been using this for three days and discovered strings of skin trapped above my gums each day within an hour or so of using it. Very disappointing because I otherwise liked the product. This just doesn't seem safe and it's super gross to be pulling strings of skin out of your mouth! A quick google shows that this is basically a universal problem with this product, and has been for years. Not sure what Listerine could be thinking, but the formula obviously needs to be changed. An NIH article from 2019 points to SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) as the culprit, so maybe take that out?? Listerine: you know this is a problem, so why not address it?

Skin Peeling in Mouth for hours after use
I bought a multipack of these as my usual bulk buy mouthwash was out of stock at the time, and man, since I've been using this mouthwash, the soft tissues in my mouth peel after use for hours each time. It's a bit of a non-issue for me because of my situation but it's incredibly annoying to have to spend a good few hours pulling peeled skin out of my mouth. And after reading other reviews, I'm now seeing it's been an issue for years. Never buying Listerine again, that's for sure.

Fresh an no alcohol
I bought this listerine because it has good benefits. I prefer with no alcohol which is good. I like soft flavors and I consider listerine has everything in what Im looking for a mouthwash

Great product!
Best anti cavity mouth wash out there!! The extra fluoride helps to fight bacteria that cause cavities so my dentist told me to use before bed and no water afterwards!

Such a creepy and scary experience to wake up with your entire mouth peeling from within. For some reason I wanted to believe it wasn’t the mouth wash but after multiple tries it is 100% this mouthwash. Sad but true. I really wanted to like it

Made my oral mucosa layers peel off
After maybe 30 minutes the layers of skin all around my mouth started peeling off. Horrible. Never happened with the alcohol version which I use regularly.

Try it!
Great to keep your fresh breath and gums healthy without so much burn as the original yellow kind. Nice and minty for the taste and last a couple of hours.
