Directions
This is a concentrated product only to be used to refill a 500 mL LISTERINE COOL MINT® ZERO Alcohol bottle with a water fill line printed on the front top label and must be diluted with water before use.
Step 1: Start by thoroughly rinsing the empty 500 mL LISTERINE COOL MINT® ZERO Alcohol bottle with drinkable water. Do not use soap or wash in the dishwasher.
Step 2: Add room-temperature, drinkable water to the water fill line shown on the front top label of the empty bottle.
Step 3: Pour one entire mouthwash concentrate into the bottle with the water. Replace cap and shake gently.
Step 4: After dilution, follow the directions for use on the 500 mL LISTERINE COOL MINT® ZERO Alcohol bottle: Rinse for 30 seconds with 20 mL (2/3 fluid ounce or 4 teaspoonfuls) morning and night. Do not swallow.
Diluted product can be used for up to 3 months after dilution.
Warnings
Children under the age of 12 should not dilute or mix the concentrate refill. Dilution by children 12 years of age or older should be under the supervision of an adult. Do not use diluted product in children under 6 years of age.
Keep out of reach of children. If more than used for rinsing is accidentally swallowed, get medical help or contact a poison control center right away.

How many full mouthwashes will I get out of each purchase of LISTERINE® mouthwash concentrate?
Both the Starter Kit and the Refill Pack allow you to mix three full 500 mL bottles of COOL MINT® ZERO. The Starter Kit comes with a full bottle of regular COOL MINT® ZERO and then you will mix the other two. The Refill Pack comes with three 100 mL concentrates that you will use to create three separate 500 mL COOL MINT® ZEROS, but to do that you will need an empty 500 mL bottle of COOL MINT® ZERO that contains a water fill line at the top. If you do not have one of those bottles, we recommend you purchase the Starter Kit to begin your more sustainable Listerine journey!
How much mouthwash concentrate do I use?
One FULL concentrate should be used with each empty 500 mL mouthwash. After rinsing your reusable 500 mL bottle, you want to fill it up with water to the water fill line and then add an entire bottle of the 100 mL concentrate.
Can I use less concentrate to make it less intense?
No, you should use a FULL bottle of 100 mL concentrate per 400 mL of water to guarantee that your newly mixed bottle of COOL MINT® ZERO is just as effective as our regular COOL MINT® ZERO. It is important to carefully read and follow the directions on the label to obtain the proper concentration. Directions for how to dilute or mix the concentrate to refill your empty bottle of COOL MINT® ZERO can be found on the back of the smaller concentrate refill bottle (100 mL). You must use one FULL bottle of 100 mL of concentrate and 400 mL of water.
What temperature should I use for the water?
When mixing the water and the concentrate, we recommend using room temperature water, so not too hot and not too cold, you want it to be juuussst right.
Does the order that I add the water or concentrate matter?
Yes, we always recommend adding the water first and then pouring in the concentrate. This allows you to make sure you are using the right amount of water to dilute the product with (400 mL as indicated by the water fill line) and avoids excess foaming.
How long/often do I need to shake the water and concentrate after I’ve mixed them?
It doesn’t take long at all! You want to gently shake the mixture of water and concentrate until they are fully blended together. Once the mixture is fully combined, you do not need to shake it again.
After shaking, what is the shelf life of the newly diluted mouthwash and does water type (tap or filtered) matter?
Once fully mixed, the diluted product doesn’t need to be shaken again and can be used for up to 3 months. As long as you are using flat, drinkable water, the efficacy and the shelf life should not be impacted by variations in the water used.
How many times can I reuse the 500 mL bottle?
If following the directions properly, you can reuse the 500 mL bottle with LISTERINE® concentrate refills for up to two years from purchase.
Can I put the bottle in the dishwasher?
No. To wash your 500 mL reusable bottle, simply rinse it thoroughly only using drinkable water. Do not use soap or wash in the dishwasher.
Can I use another container to dilute and store the product?
No, we only recommend using the 100 mL concentrates with a 500 mL bottle of COOL MINT® ZERO that contains a water fill line at the top. FOR REFILL PACK: If you do not have one of those bottles, we recommend you purchase the Starter Kit to begin your more sustainable Listerine journey!

Wow!! Your breath will be MINTY! Not the burn of original but the freshness is there. Give it a good swish and spit to have clean smelling breath in a flash. The cap is easy to remove and reapply. Usually you can find a coupon which adds to the value.

I like that this is zero alcohol but just as effective as the regular one. You have a variety of sizes with a lid that’s difficult for young kids to open. The price is reasonable and a value if you get the big bottle. Highly recommend.

Listerine Cool Mint mouthwash leaves your breath fresh and kills bad germs that live in your mouth. It helps fight against plaque and gingivitis. I use this product 2x daily and I love the effectiveness and freshness I get with easy rinse. It’s very easy to use just swish it around in your mouth without swallowing and spit it out. It leaves a fresh tingly feeling so you know it’s working. It’s not expensive and a product I think everyone should use daily.

My GO-TO Mouthwash for years!
Listerine is my GO-TO mouthwash! My family and I have been using their mouthwash products for years, and we love the minty refresh, plus all of the cleaning benefits. If you don’t like super strong minty mouthwashes, this may not be for you, but I personally only use those types.
