Product seems to work

Review Questions:
State: California
Age: 55 to 64
Review Text:
First, I like the taste. And it seems to work on my sensitive teeth. I need to know; how long after rinsing before I can eat and drink again without undoing whatever good this product is doing? Also, how long before I can brush again?

Phosphoric Acid?

Review Questions:
State: New York
Age: 45-54
Review Text:
The mouth feel/coating people have been describing is similar to that of Biotene dry mouth rinse. The addition of phosphoric acid seems to be contradictory as acidic products increase enamel loss. The result would leave the user more dependent on your product because an increase in enamel loss would increase the amount of tubules that need to be "blocked" by your product.

Left gums sore and red

Review Questions:
State: Georgia
Age: 35-44
Review Text:
I have used ADA approved Listerine for 20 years, and decided to try the new product. I have used it for three weeks twice a day, to end up with sore gums. Flossing began to become very painful, and I started to read the labels to see it’s not ADA approved, which means it’s basically a breath freshener. Luckily my husband doesn’t try new products so I used his Tried and true ADA approved Listerine and gums were instantly feeling better. I have wasted my money, because I purchased the product from Sams and must throw three bottles away. I am very dissatisfied with the sensitivity Listerine.

Very Strange and Unpleasant Sensation

Review Questions:
State: California
Age: 25-34
Review Text:
There are several things that are weird about this mouthwash. Despite the bottle claiming a mint flavor, I didn't taste mint at all. It has a sour taste instead. It also burns really bad, enough to make my eyes water. In addition to the sourness and burning, it's also astringent - like cranberry juice to the nth degree. The worst part is the sensation it leaves in your mouth after you spit it out. Everywhere - teeth, tongue, and gums - is coated in a strange fuzzy, dry layer. It's extremely uncomfortable and unpleasant. It also leaves your breath smelling weird, not like mint at all. Honestly I can't imagine anyone being okay with these negative side effects. How can this mouthwash sell? It's just awful. I'm shocked that this made it to market.

Love This Product!!!

Review Questions:

Review Text:
I recently just got braces and always heard that it will hurt when you first get them put on and every tightening. My teeth were so sensitive and sore that I was extra gentle with brushing my teeth. Once I saw this Listerine Sensitivity product in the Target store, I was very skeptical of buying it. So since I couldn't take the pain of my gums and teeth hurting anymore, I went ahead and purchased the product. By day 2 I was feeling so relieved from the pain that I now mention it to my dentist and orthodontist. I was able to eat food comfortably. It is definitely true to it's word about providing some type of 24hr protective shield because I was painless all day when taken as prescribed on the bottle. The only thing is the taste is awkward but I don't care, just as long as it is taking away the pain, I'm good!

My sensitivity was so bad that if the cold air hit my teeth it pained me. I was able to eat ice cream a few hours after using it for the second time. I sank my teeth into that ice cream scared as ever but I was fine...right after that, I purposely had some candy for further testing and I was fine...cold and sweet was my issues...I'm so Impressed ....I definitely recommend this product. Finally something that really works.

Function over flavor!

Review Questions:
State: Tennessee
Age: 35-44
Review Text:
I'm a registered dental hygienist and I've always had sensitive teeth. I'm always on the lookout for new products to help occlude the dentinal tubules and block the painful nerve reactions of sensitivity. I just used this product for the first time, and I have to agree with some of the other folks who state that the taste is a little strange. Keep in mind this isn't a simple "breath freshening" mouth rinse. This is a scientific chemical process designed to change the landscape of your tooth surfaces in order to reduce sensitivity. I already feel less sensitive after one use. I plan to use twice daily for one week and then re-evaluate my sensitivity. Pros: affordable, quick-acting, zero alcohol. Cons: strange flavor (that fades quickly) and can't use if you have kidney problems.
