Rated 1 out of 5 by kelsey16 from Os much dead skin... I bought and started using this mouthwash once daily as recommended by my dentist. However, I experience the same symptoms as many others, with so much sloughing from the inside of my cheeks and gums within minutes of having used it. It also burns and stings when I use the mouthwash, which I did not expect from an alcohol free mouthwash.Date published: 2021-01-19Rated 1 out of 5 by camm from Sloughing, same as others I tried this mouthwash out to help with my gums and instead it gave me a film of dead skin on my inner cheeks. I don't recommend this at all.Date published: 2021-01-15Rated 1 out of 5 by Audrey from Canker sores This product causes ulcers all over my mouth, it irrigates the mucosa membrane so bad that caused at least 10 canker sores all over my mouth.Date published: 2020-12-08Rated 1 out of 5 by Julie from My cheeks are torn up! I bought this after learning that an alcohol free mouthwash would be better for dry mouth, within 30 minutes of using it my cheeks had film on them, absolutely terrible. My cheeks are torn up and I keep pulling strings of skin out of my mouth.Date published: 2020-12-06Rated 1 out of 5 by DWYL from White stringy cells sloughing off Recently bought this because my dentist recommended using a mouthwash without alcohol. So I bought this and had been getting white stringy cells sloughing off after every use in both mornings and nights! Hope it’s not harmful!Date published: 2020-12-06Rated 5 out of 5 by Teanna989 from Only one I buy I don't know why this has such bad reviews, it's awesome. I can use it and I don't want to puke from the alcohol taste. I love that it makes your teeth feel like you just left the dentist. I refused to use mouthwash until I gave total care zero a try.Date published: 2020-11-07Rated 1 out of 5 by Sandala from Inside skin of mouth peeling off There is definitely something wrong with the alcohol-free version of this mouthwash. I was using the normal Total Care mouthwash with no issues and decided to try the alcohol-free version. After a few days of use, I noticed chunks of skin from the inside my mouth had formed. Also, it caused canker sores on both ends of my lips, which made it hard to open my mouth to eat. Never using this again.Date published: 2020-10-27Rated 1 out of 5 by Kays2018 from Sloughing side effects I started using this mouth wash a week or two ago. Immediately after each use I have tons of stringy, white tissue all over the inside of my mouth, along my gums, inside my cheeks. I couldn’t understand what it was at first but once I started to lose taste and feel like the whole inside of my mouth was raw I started researching. I found TONS of reviews complaining of the same issue I’m having. I switched to this listerine because the one with alcohol gives me dry mouth issues. I never had THIS issue with the regular listerine. I’m very disappointed that I wasted money on this product because I have no choice but to discontinue use.Date published: 2020-10-21
