Peeling skin in my mouth and food has lost flavor

Review Questions:
State: Ohio
Age: 35-44
Review Text:
I have extremely sensitive teeth, to the point where eating anything on the right side of my mouth has become nearly impossible. I use a sensitivity toothpaste and, until I discovered this product in the store last week, I used Act Restoring mouthwash. I've been using this product for 4 days now and I have noticed some disturbing effects. First, after using it twice a day for 2 days, I noticed I had very thin layers of skin peeling from the insides of my cheeks shortly after rinsing with it. This has persisted, happening every time I've used it since that second day. Secondly, this mouthwash is having a strange effect on my tongue. Despite not having any alcohol in it, this rinse still burns quite a bit when using it. It almost numbs my tongue. The problem is now, after 4 days of use, that numb feeling continues all day and into the evening, when it's time to rinse again, thereby refreshing the sensation. This numb feeling has significantly decreased the flavor I get from my food. It's enough to make me want to stop using the product, despite the fact that it works better after just 4 days for reducing the pain I always have when eating. So now I have to choose between being able to painlessly eat food that doesn't taste good, or suffer through eating food that does taste good, like I've been doing for years. Very disappointed. Gave 2 stars just because it is working, but that's a BIG trade off. Can't recommend or not recommend, because that's a decision you have to make.

I have been using your product for 3 days now. I decided to give it the jellybean test. Normally, the pain from those jokers sticking to my teeth will send me into orbit. Today-NO PAIN!!!! It works for hot and cold sensitivity as well. Love this product and I'm telling everyone how great it is!

Kidney Stones?

Review Questions:
State: Massachusetts
Age: 55 to 64
Review Text:
I just bought this. Brought it home and read the instructions - "Do not use this product if "you have a history of kidney stones"! I currently am being treated for a kidney stone, but why can't I use this product? It's not like I plan on drinking it.

Great question! The warning on the label is due to the fact that our Sensitivity Zero-Alcohol Mouth Rinse contains Dipotassium Oxalate Monohydrate. We hope this information helps!

This product is terrible!

Review Questions:
State: North Carolina

Review Text:
The directions say use 2 teaspoons and swish for 60 seconds. I did 1 teaspoon and could only swish about 8 seconds before my mouth felt like someone had lit it on fire with a blow torch! Had to spit it out immediately and rinse with cool water for about 5 minutes. Poured the rest down the drain and will never purchase the product. I got this particular bottle as a sample from my dentist today. Will also be calling them to give feedback.

False advertising.....

State: North Carolina

I bought this because it was for sensitive teeth and said it has ZERO alcohol! Being the nervous person that I am I decided to double check the ingredients and it has sorbitol in it... which is sugar ALCOHOL! I now can't use it or any of the other products so it was a waste of money. Sad.

Burning

Review Questions:
State: Alabama

Review Text:
I’ve been a certified dental assistant going on four years now. And I have always had sensitive teeth, well that being said I saw this product at the store today and was very excited that there was something to add to my daily brushing habits. I use huri seal. A product that the dentist applies to sensitive areas it only works for a day or so and it’s back. After trying the mouth wash I experienced an intense burning sensation. I couldn’t tolerate it any longer than 30-45 seconds. I hope to get used to the sensation soon so I can continue use. Thank you.

Phosphoric Acid?

Review Questions:
State: New York
Age: 45-54
Review Text:
The mouth feel/coating people have been describing is similar to that of Biotene dry mouth rinse. The addition of phosphoric acid seems to be contradictory as acidic products increase enamel loss. The result would leave the user more dependent on your product because an increase in enamel loss would increase the amount of tubules that need to be "blocked" by your product.
