Great Sensitivity Product

I received a small sample bottle of Listerine Sensitivity Zero-Alcohol Mouthrinse to try. I think it really did provide some desensitization for my teeth. I noticed that my teeth did not seem as sensitive to hot or cold after some use of this product. The flavor was pleasant. That being said, it did not have a strong mint flavor that some products do. That is good or bad depending on what you prefer. I prefer a little bit of a stronger flavor. Overall the product worked very well though.

Product seems to work

Review Questions:
State: California
Age: 55 to 64
Review Text:
First, I like the taste. And it seems to work on my sensitive teeth. I need to know; how long after rinsing before I can eat and drink again without undoing whatever good this product is doing? Also, how long before I can brush again?

Love This Product!!!

Review Text:
I recently just got braces and always heard that it will hurt when you first get them put on and every tightening. My teeth were so sensitive and sore that I was extra gentle with brushing my teeth. Once I saw this Listerine Sensitivity product in the Target store, I was very skeptical of buying it. So since I couldn't take the pain of my gums and teeth hurting anymore, I went ahead and purchased the product. By day 2 I was feeling so relieved from the pain that I now mention it to my dentist and orthodontist. I was able to eat food comfortably. It is definitely true to it's word about providing some type of 24hr protective shield because I was painless all day when taken as prescribed on the bottle. The only thing is the taste is awkward but I don't care, just as long as it is taking away the pain, I'm good!

Need more information

The warnings are scary. I need more information before I feel confident using this product. Why can't I use if I take Vitamin C? What is the interaction there? Also, why does it contain Phosphoric Acid? Acids tent to increase sensitivity.

It works!

I’m two days in, using morning and night, and I love this product. I have sensitive teeth and have had for years. I use prevident toothpaste, and sometimes sensodyne, in combination with this product and I can already tell a difference over using sensitive toothpaste alone. I will continue to use this product. I very much dislike the taste but it’s onky bad when you initially start swishing. There is a strange mouth feeling after using - like a coating on my teeth. Being a long-time sensitive tooth product user, I know this is to be expected. There’s not really an after taste so I don’t mind using this at all since it really helps!

Function over flavor!

I'm a registered dental hygienist and I've always had sensitive teeth. I'm always on the lookout for new products to help occlude the dentinal tubules and block the painful nerve reactions of sensitivity. I just used this product for the first time, and I have to agree with some of the other folks who state that the taste is a little strange. Keep in mind this isn't a simple "breath freshening" mouth rinse. This is a scientific chemical process designed to change the landscape of your tooth surfaces in order to reduce sensitivity. I already feel less sensitive after one use. I plan to use twice daily for one week and then re-evaluate my sensitivity. Pros: affordable, quick-acting, zero alcohol. Cons: strange flavor (that fades quickly) and can't use if you have kidney problems.
