Directions
Rinse full strength for 30 seconds with 20 ml (2/3 fluid ounce or 4 teaspoonfuls) morning and night. Do not swallow.
Warnings

Bad taste but it’s doing w good job
Yes like most of the reviews. It does. It taste nice. It burns a little bit doesn’t leave me with scars or marks or sores though. You make the buring worse if you add water ... just a tip. I would recommend this but I will bring going back to the nightly reset as protecting my enamel is really important to me.

Clean breath

this is the only product is the only one i have used.
In the early 1980,s we move to Galesburg Ks.qnd I went to work for Bushog. I met the maintenance man and we talked a lot about work the plant and how thing were going. He is the one that got me interested in Listerine. back then there was only one kind of Listerine the original which I have use ever sense. A few years later you come out with the blue one I ask my dentist about it and he said that it was like they put something in it that made it not as good as it was originally, So that was good enough for me and I don't use anything else. I'm not perfect so I have accidentally picked up a different kind whence. I enjoy using the one with alcohol it makes my mouth feel better.

Great mouth wash !

Caps hard to open
I do like Listerine mouthwash (I use Fresh Burst) and find it help heal soreness
and irritations in my mouth. I have just one complaint---the bottles are hard to open. I have to take a hammer and screwdriver to them. Could you please make some without child-proof caps that adults with arthritic thumbs can open?

I use Listerine every day . I think it's the best out there. I have been using it for about 40 years and I have no plans to stop.
I won't say it stops all decaying teeth but I will tell you I have a lot less trouble than family and friends around me . I say try it for a couple months ad see! What do you have to lose ?

Sweet and minty no, effective YES
For the past 40 years I've used the original Listerine and I will continue to use the original Listerine for the next 40 years (if I live that long). It leaves my mouth feeling clean and my breath fresh. No, it's not sweet or "minty" like candy and I appreciate that. Thank you for continuing to provide a not sweet or minty mouthwash option.

I don’t know if it’s just me but this mouthwash is so gross! It tastes like bleach or some sort of chemical is it it? It makes my tongue numb for an hour!? Worst mouthwash I’ve ever used! The fumes make my eyes water

Could not open container
My husband uses the mint listerine and I would like to use the product as well but can’t open the container with my arthritis. Possibly an easier way to open your product? Still a full time working Realtor - any advice to open your product easily? Please do not share my contact info

I love Listerine Original
I've been using the product for the last 3 months, an unexpected side effect of daily rinsing is that while people around me have been getting sick from the flu, I haven't
gotten sick, not even a sniffle. Listerine Original has also helped alleviate somewhat my rhinitis, I breathe much better. I just had to mention how surprised and happy I am of this two unexpected side effects. God bless this product

Excellent Product
I let my supply of Listerine Regular run out--it can be hard to find--everyone with good dental sense is using it. I used another brand. Within days, my gums were bleeding and one spot is particular was very sore. Going back to Listerine--will stock up and never let my supply get below a certain level. Thank you for this product.

This product reversed a serious problem.
Due to other health issues, I had slacked off on my dental program over a two year period. Brushing once a day at night. Inevitably this led to bleeding gums and the signature puffy red telltale of gingivitis. I immediately started flossing again. While helpful, it wasn’t enough. A bloody mess, let’s leave it at that. I even started noticing that my gums were receding. Then I remembered Listerine. I never thought it was that intense or painful; when my mouth was healthy. So I bought Cool Mint Listerine and added it to my program. Brush, floss and rinse with Listerine twice a day. For the first week it was excruciating. It took everything I had to keep swishing for 30 seconds to a minute. But I held in and got through it. By the second week I noticed it was much less painful. Still intense, but completely tolerable. What I also noticed though was that my gums were bleeding only a tiny bit while flossing and they were starting to look a healthy shade of pink again. Unbelievable. I will never let this happen again and will continue using Listerine after flossing. To me, the pain was both a punishment for letting myself go like this and also a sign that this formula was burning out all the bacteria and germs that were causing my problems. Want a healthy mouth? Set up a program and stick to it. It only takes ten minutes total out of your day. Brush, floss and thoroughly rinse with Listerine. Thank you for this product!

Listerine Original does the job
The two common complaints with Listerine is that "it burns", and that the original formula contains alcohol. While both sentiments are true, there is simply no finer mouthwash on the market than Listerine Original. This includes other flavors of Listerine. Believe me. I've tried them. Listerine Original is the only mouthwash that leaves my mouth clean, and my breath fresh.

Bad Breath
In the past two years, my love for spicy food has gone up affecting my breath. In gathering, i can feel people uncomfortable around me. I have started using Listerine Freshburst for over two weeks morning and evening after flossing and brushing. My problem is, how do i know listerine is solving my problem or do i try a different variant of listerine for instance Listerine Origional?

So hard to open the bottles

AMAZING
I have used the original antiseptic product for some time and prefer it to the other Listerine iterations. The primary reason I am stating this is that it works without the sweetness. My overall mouth health is excellent and with no breath and/or plague issues.

I agree it kills the bacteria and it's refreshing
Everytime i use it, it could be the littlest amount or mid- way in cap it burns my gums. I suggest you use less alcohol in this product or figure out whatever it is in this product that burns

Terrible Reaction

Original Listerine keeps your mouth clean and refreshed all day.
I have used the Original Listerine my lifetime and still do even with a variety of products out in the market. This stuff makes my mouth clean and refreshed while helping my gums and teeth. I'd like to buy this product by the gallon. Great mouth wash.
