Directions
Adults 18 years of age and older:
Rinse full strength for 60 seconds with 10 ml (2 teaspoonfuls) morning and night. Do not swallow.

You may experience shedding of the cheek lining or gum tissue during initial use. If this continues, or if you experience any new pain, discomfort or irritation of gum and other mouth tissues, stop use and see a dentist.
Do not use this product if you:
- Are under 18 years old
- Have a history of kidney stones, or kidney disease, have difficulty absorbing fats in foods (fat malabsorption syndrome), or take high doses of Vitamin C (1,000 mg or more per day)
- Are allergic to any of these ingredients
- Have any other sources of pain in the mouth such as tooth decay.
- If tooth pain/sensitivity still persists after 4 weeks of use or worsens at any point, please visit your dentist.

Need more information
The warnings are scary. I need more information before I feel confident using this product. Why can't I use if I take Vitamin C? What is the interaction there? Also, why does it contain Phosphoric Acid? Acids tent to increase sensitivity.

It seems like it should be a great product
For some reason after I use this particular Listerine it sheds the inside of my cheeks. I’ve been using the original Listerine and never had this happen. Has anyone else had this issue? Does this mean I’m allergic to something in this particular Listerine?

BEST PRODUCT EVER!!!!!!!
I have been struggling with sensitive teeth for as long as I can remember and this is the first product that really alleviates the pain. I have tried every sensitive toothpaste and sensitive mouthwash available and none have worked as well as the Listerine Sensitivity mouth rinse.
I have switched to a new sensitive toothpaste and am using it together with the Listerine Sensitivity mouth rinse and they are working perfectly together.
But even without using a sensitivity toothpaste, the Listerine Sensitivity mouth rinse works perfectly alone.
I just use a toothpaste for sensitive teeth for extra protection
I would and have recommended this product to anyone and everyone I know that has sensitive teeth
I would give it 20 stars if the overall rating section had enough spaces available!

Made sensitivity worse after only a few uses
Had slight sensitivity that toothpaste for sensitive teeth improved. Thought I'd try this to freshen breath, and see if it helped also. NOT! Made sensitivity much worse after only a few uses. I do not recommend this.

Do Not Buy!!!
I was so excited when I saw a commercial for this new rinse. I had a mild but persistent sensitivity so I thought this would be great to alleviate that. NOT TRUE!! This rinse made the sensitivity so much worse. From the very first time I used it now my sensitivity is serious. It is a deep throbbing pain now. Before it was just very mild and in about 2 teeth. Now it throbs so badly I can feel my pulse in all of my teeth. It is so bad now that I have been clenching my jaw when I sleep from the pain causing migraines. I only used the rinse for about 4 days and my teeth have hurt for weeks afterward. I wish I had never tried it. Stay far away!

Product seems to work
First, I like the taste. And it seems to work on my sensitive teeth. I need to know; how long after rinsing before I can eat and drink again without undoing whatever good this product is doing? Also, how long before I can brush again?

Increased tooth sensitivity
I used this as instructed and now my tooth sensitivity has increased significantly. I have had slight sensitivity prior to using this. Within a couple days of using it I noticed my sensitivity had increased so I stopped using it. I continued using my sensitive teeth toothpaste. At this point my sensitivity happens even when I am not eating or drinking. I don’t think the increased sensitivity is a coincidence.

Love This Product!!!
I recently just got braces and always heard that it will hurt when you first get them put on and every tightening. My teeth were so sensitive and sore that I was extra gentle with brushing my teeth. Once I saw this Listerine Sensitivity product in the Target store, I was very skeptical of buying it. So since I couldn't take the pain of my gums and teeth hurting anymore, I went ahead and purchased the product. By day 2 I was feeling so relieved from the pain that I now mention it to my dentist and orthodontist. I was able to eat food comfortably. It is definitely true to it's word about providing some type of 24hr protective shield because I was painless all day when taken as prescribed on the bottle. The only thing is the taste is awkward but I don't care, just as long as it is taking away the pain, I'm good!

Great product - thank you
I recently had an old filling replaced with a new one. You know, the kind that doesn't move once hardened. These fillings typically cause the tooth that the filling was put in, as well as the tooth right above or below it, to be sensitive and hurt, which then requires a return visit to the dentist for an adjustment. Which I did in this case. However, after this adjustment, the tooth (teeth) remained sensitive to cold, hot, and sometimes just to touch. I tried the rapid relief sensitive toothpaste, but had no rapid relief. Then i saw an ad for this, and couldn't wait to try it. For the first few days, my teeth had a little more heightened sensitivity, but now it's been about 2 weeks, rinsing every morning and evening (like the directions say), and my sensitivity and pain is gone!!! I will definitely continue to use this product, especially before and after a dental procedure. Thank you.

Made teeth more sensitive
Used regular listening in the past...no problems. Since I have sensitive teeth I decided to try this....BIG MISTAKE. Immediately had tooth and gum pain (throbbing)..tried again 3 nights....got worse. Stopped using. Took about a week for the throbbing pain to stop. Teeth are more sensitive now than they ever were. Same thing happened with my husband.

This product is amazing, better than any tooth paste or rince.
I could hardly eat anything without great sensitivity to hot, cold, acid, sugar, using my water pic. I am allergic to dentist strength fluoride, so this can't be used. My dentist gave me samples new toothpastes that were supposed to correct this. I had already been using one. I have used this new Listerine product for less than a week, and I am 95 percent better.

Works very well.
I highly recommend this product for individuals with sensitive teeth or post dental work. I just had a large amount of dental work done, and cold or hot stuff in my mouth was very painful. This product has aliviated the sensitivity. I am back to normal. GOOD STUFF, TWO THUMBS UP LISTERINE!

This product has changed my life!!!!
I have been waiting a long time for a product like this to get out on the market. For years, I haven't been able to eat any of the things that I love, but this product has changed all that!! I think the flavor is pleasant, but I would use it even if it tasted like gasoline!!! Now I can eat ALL my favorite things! Thank you Listerine for changing my life!!!!

I like Listerine products, I have used them my entire life. I'm sure this would be a good product if you could get past the flavor of it. It says it's "fresh mint", it tastes like skoal! It should specifically say that the flavor is Wintergreen, which to me is "not a mint flavor"..............it's nasty!

I like it
Now I have always had sensitive teeth since I was a child. I have used sensitivity toothpaste and I never felt it did a adequate job. But this mouth wash not only relieve the pain, but my teeth feel so clean.
I will definitely buy this again. Thank you for this amazing product.
Now all we need is something to relieve gum pain for those of us who made the dire mistake of brushing our teeth hard and got a canker sore on our gums. Ouch.

Horrible taste
I bought this with hopes to calm down my hypersensitive teeth. I’ve tried almost everything that could be used for it (prescription and OTC).. nothing has worked.
Bought listerine sensitive and I have to say it does work but after using it for over two months I still can’t shake off the initial grimace when I put it into my mouth. It. Just.taste. HORRIBLE!!!
Please listerine, do something about it!

Scary side effects
Within a few weeks of using this product, I got a painful kidney stone. I had not know why before reading the ingredients one day & then checking the warning label. I had also had peeling on the inside of my cheeks, gum irritation, and my tongue was peeling. I could never have imagined experiencing all of these terrible things trying to control my minor tooth pain.
