Great for people with gum issues.
I saw this in the grocery store and decided to it a try. I've used it for the I past 2 days and I have to admit I LOVE this product! Your mouth feels so clean and fresh. It's a winner! The only thing that's missing with this GREAT product is the woven dental floss by Listerine. I can't find it any where :( It it discontinued? I have sensitive gums.This product is GREAT!!! I'm on my last pack. HELP!!!! Please bring it back on the store shelves.

Great Product
I saw this product at Wal-Mart and I guess I’ll try it. I have periodontal disease. Used for three weeks a long with brushing and my gums got pinker and no bleeding. But you have to use it twice a day after eating and Brush your teeth. Thanks Listerine .

No it’s NOT the same as the regular Listerine!
The previous review states that it’s ingredients as exactly the same as regular Listerine. The reviewer is not correct. Gum Therapy contains Thymol. Which contains a derivative of the commonly used herb known as Thyme. I was skeptical about it making any noticeable difference but I was very wrong. I’ve been using it for about 2 months now and my gums look and feel much healthier. I’m no longer experiencing the occasional bleeding when flossing. I strongly suggest trying this product if you have existing gum issues. I also recommend using the Gum Therapy as a preventative. Listerine Gum Therapy works well for me.

Spot the Difference
Gum Therapy Listerine and regular Listerine have the same ingredients down to the measurement. As someone with periodontal disease I was hoping this could assist with the issue as I’ve spent a lot on dental this year. With that said, I’m less than neutral on the product and marketing. If the ingredients aren’t going to change you may as well add new labels to the existing products. I find it lighter on the mouth than bronze or green flavored wash.

It works!
I compared the ingredients to the ones in the common green Listerine, and while nearly identical, there were a few differences. I decided to give it a try because my gums bleed since I have difficulty with flossing due to jaw issues. I've been using for about 2 weeks, and I've noticed my gums barely bleed now and have become alot more pink. It doesn't taste as strong as the regular listerine which is nice. Definitely helps with bleeding. I'm sure the regular one does too but I'm going to stick with this for a bit and see how it goes. Great product listerine!!

Stain the teeth due to added colors! There is actually some other color-less products available...and cheaper... Unfortunately sacharine in their ingridience too

Skin peeling off
I have quite a bit of Listerine product at my house. I saw this one and thought I’d give it a try to help my gums. My gums are in need of soothing and healing. I used it for a few days, twice daily. At first is was burning my mouth significantly. I continued to use it to give it a chance. Within a few days, my cheek was hurting and skin was coming off. I just looked in the mirror and sadly large patch of inner oral tissue peeled off leaving an irritated and almost bloody tissue exposed. I’m floored. In the trash it goes! This is more than just a thin outer layer of skin. It’s a raw patch on the verge of bleeding. If you need some healing and soothing, this is the opposite.

Chemical Sensitivities Safe Product
Thank you, Listerine, for producing a great product that really works! No harshness or burning. I have dealt with periodontal disease in the past. This amazing product keeps my gums healthy!
I also have multiple chemical Sensitivities and have to be extremely careful with products, or I get sick. This product gives me no symptoms and is safe to use if you have MCS.

So I began using this product about a month-and-a-half ago. I do have some signs of gum swelling redness Etc. So I thought let's give this a try... Well as of right now in the last couple weeks I have several areas in my upper gums on two parts of my mouth that are very tender and almost Raw, I've been assuming that okay the stuff is really working and getting rid of all the bad junk in my gums, but I'm not sure if it's supposed to be feeling this way or not? The area is right where the gum in the lip meets in both places and it's fairly uncomfortable at the moment regardless of whether I'm eating or drinking. I'm not sure whether to continue to use it. But I also am wondering maybe it's actually doing its job and cleaning it so thoroughly that it's feeling sensitive? Any feedback would be great... I lost my insurance last year so can't go to the dentist

Great!!!
I started using this about three months ago and my gums are much better. I had trouble with food getting lodged in my gums and that problem has disappeared. I also went for a dental cleaning and my gums are healthier then at prior visits. Thank you Listerine Gum Therapy

Not able to taste now!
I’m terribly disappointed that I ever used this product because now I can’t taste anything. I used as prescribed for 5 days/twice a day and had to stop because my tongue became numb and I lost my taste. That was 6 weeks ago! This product should come with a warning label.

Mouth feels fresher gums feel better
When I first used this product it did burn, I won’t lie. I found that the more I used it the less it burned. I’m almost wondering if my gums had that much bacteria on them and it was just the mouth wash killing the germs and that’s why it burned bad at first and burned less and less with the more I used it. I’ve used it for about three days twice a day and my gums and mouth just feel better. I feel as though my gums are not as swollen and my teeth do not hurt. I was showing beginning signs of pregum disease. I thought I better take action and found this product. I am glad I did. Thanks Listerine.

Long Lasting Peppery Aftertaste
If you like the lingering taste of pepper irritating your mouth, go ahead and rinse with this mouthwash. Not even a hint of "Glacial Mint", peppery from the get-go. No noticeable gum effects for me, but maybe for some the lingering pepper burn will be worth it.

Pretty Decent, But Can Be Better
I've found that use of the Gum Therapy Listerine has been beneficial for my gums, but, I feel that there is also room for improvement. While the ingredients present in the formula are suitable to the task of soothing gum tissues by reducing inflammation and pain, while also providing a less intense antiseptic property, the opportunity is missed to really lean into the clean, and not with alcohol either.
Please, add in a .05 to 0.07% concentration of Cetylpyridinum Chloride, it will create a full on comprehensive mouth-washing solution that would truly serve to knock out gingivitis when combined with the existing anti-inflammation properties of the current formulation.
